SSC CGL 2026 ke official notification (F.No. HQ-C11018/1/2026-C-1, uploaded 21 May 2026) ke Para 5 mein clearly stated hai ki age calculation ki cutoff date 01 August 2026 hai. Matlab aapki age 01-08-2026 ko kitni hogi — wohi measure ki jaayegi, application date ko nahi.

Para 5.1 mein four different age categories specified hain based on post type. Agar post ke liye 18-27 years age limit hai, toh candidate 02-08-1999 ko ya baad mein born hona chahiye aur 01-08-2008 se pehle born hona chahiye. Agar 20-30 years hai, toh 02-08-1996 se 01-08-2006 ke beech born. Age limit 18-30 ke liye, 02-08-1996 se 01-08-2008 ke beech born. Para 8.4 mein clearly stated hai ki most posts ke liye Bachelor's Degree from a recognized University or equivalent required hai. Koi minimum percentage requirement nahi hai most posts ke liye. Arts, Commerce, Science, B.Tech, BCA, BBA — koi bhi stream valid hai jab tak degree recognized university se ho.

Sirf Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) ke liye special requirement hai — Para 8.2 mein: 60% marks in Mathematics at 12th standard level, OR Statistics as one of the subjects at degree level. Ye bahut important hai — JSO ki unique requirements hain.

Statistical Investigator Grade-II ke liye Para 8.3 mein specified: degree must be in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Demography, Population Studies, Operation Research, IT, Computer Science, CS Engineering, Computer Technology, Computer Application, Data Science, or Artificial Intelligence.
