2424. Mode of Selection (Selection Process Table)
The recruitment is conducted in two successive computer-based test stages:

Final selection and Institute allocation are based strictly on marks scored in Stage-II Mains CBT.
2727. Negative Marking & Sectional Timing
Negative Marking: There is a penalty of 1/3rd (0.33) marks for each incorrect response in both Stage-I and Stage-II.
Sectional Timer: The 90-minute examination is segmented into 5 sections of 18 minutes each (20 questions per section). Once a section's timer expires, candidates cannot revisit it.
2828. Minimum Qualifying Marks (Cut-Off Percentage)
Minimum qualifying percentage marks required in CBT:
