  • MTS: 18–25 years (candidates born not before 02-08-2000 and not later than 01-08-2007)
  • Havaldar (CBIC & CBN): 18–27 years (candidates born not before 02-08-1998 and not later than 01-08-2007)

Educational Qualification

As per the official SSC notification (Para 9)

Candidates must have passed the Matriculation Examination or equivalent from a recognized Board as on or before the cut-off date, i.e. 01-08-2025.

Degrees/diplomas/certificates awarded through Open and Distance Learning mode by Universities established by an Act of Parliament/State Legislature, or Institutions Deemed to be Universities, stand automatically recognized provided they are approved by the Distance Education Bureau, University Grants Commission.

Document Verification (DV) will be conducted by the User Departments/Organizations after declaration of the final result. Candidates must produce relevant certificates such as Mark sheets and Provisional Certificates as proof of having acquired the minimum educational qualification on or before the stipulated date.

Candidates who can prove that the result of the qualifying examination was declared on or before the cut-off date will also be considered to meet the educational qualification. Mere processing of the result by the Board by the crucial cut-off date does not fulfill the EQ requirement.

Reservation Rules

Reservation will be provided for Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), Ex-servicemen (ESM) and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), as per extant Government Orders (Para 3.1). Reservation and age relaxation will be given as per Government rules, and candidates must submit the requisite certificate from the competent authority, in the prescribed format, at the time of Document Verification (Para 7.1).

Application Fee

Fee payable: ₹100/- (Rupees one hundred only). Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) and Ex-servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of fee (Para 11.1–11.2).
